Airtel launches new prepaid recharge coupon for Delhi, NCR

New Delhi (PTI): Telecom service provider Bharti Airtel on Friday launched 'Unlimited Masti' recharge voucher for prepaid customers in Delhi and NCR circle, offering free local calls within the network.

The new voucher has been priced at Rs 297 and offers 1,000 minutes of free local Airtel to Airtel talktime with one month validity and comes with a talk value of Rs 100, a statement said.

The pack, which is also available for lifetime customers, offers unlimited local calls at Rs 0.50 per minute to mobiles and landlines.

"The recharge voucher offers great value for money to all our prepaid customers, and we are positive that this initiative will enrich the customer experience further," Bharti Airtel CEO (Mobile Services in Delhi and NCR) Shashi Arora said.

The company had an aggregate of 64.26 million customers at the end of March 2008, consisting of 61.98 million mobile customers, the statement added.

 

Airtel crosses 8 lakh customer base in Himachal

The oldest mobile service provider in Himachal Pradesh, Bharti Airtel has crossed 800,000 customers, as reported by Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI).

Sanjay Bahl, Himachal Pradesh Airtel chief said “We now have 8,05,399 customers till March 31, this year. Today the company has its presence in all the twelve districts of the state, including snow covered Lahaul & Spiti, which remains cut off from the rest of the country for more than half the year.”

The company also revealed an increment in number of towers across the state which reached to 850.
